This is my second post about Vietnam but about food I didn’t want to add these pictures in my last post, but make my own seperate post as to what foods that you should try when in Vietnam! Back when I was in Vietnam I would have these dishes on a daily basis and they are by far my favourite and I would love to share with you all.
Bun Bo Hue is a rich and spicy soup with deep layers of flavour the soup is paired with tender slices of beef and pork then topped with lots of fresh herbs.
Vietnamese Coffee Jello is flavoured coffee formed in a jelly like firm texture which makes it easy to eat.
Banh Mi is a Vietnamese term for all kinds of bread you can get with anything you want in your bread. It is the most popular to get pork paste in it which is common throughout many countries of the world.
Banh Bao is a ball shaped bun containing pork or chicken meat, onions, eggs, mushrooms and vegetables in Vietnamese cuisine. It often has Chinese sausage and a portion of a hard boiled egg inside.
Simple stir fry Vietnamese noodles with chicken and vegetables on top.
Vietnamese curry chicken with bread is a popular Vietnamese dish. The chicken is cooked in coconut and curry and the bread is used to eat along with it which gives it so flavouring and is super enjoyable.
Another popular dish in Vietnam is Bap Xao which is fried fresh corn with butter and dried shrimps, which you can top off with Sriracha sauce.
Pho is a Vietnamese noodle soup consisting of broth, rice noodles called banh pho, a few herbs and meat primarily made with either beef or chicken.
Sugarcane is a perennial grass in the family Poaceae grown for its stem (cane) which is primarily used to produce sucrose.
Rambutan is a small round shaped fruit, it is the same size as a lychee and it has leathery skin. The skin is covered in soft spines which are green to dark red. The firm white flesh is juicy and sweet.
