From Las Vegas to Los Angeles!
After my cousins competition we flew from Vegas to L.A where we were going to spend the last five days of our trip there. Although it was such a short amount of time, we managed to cover everything we wanted to do which included tours, sightseeing, shopping and eating. There’s so much to love about L.A and I couldn’t say anything that I didn’t like about it at all. I highly recommend L.A for anyone who hasn’t travelled there yet, it’s one of my favourite cities which I will visit again in the future.
I will provide information about Los Angeles along with photos below of my trip!
Los Angeles is a city in California located in the United States of America. It is a 14 hour and 20 minute plane ride from Melbourne, flying direct with Qantas, United Airlines & Virgin Airlines.
The common language that people speak in the U.S. is English.
The currency in America is the USD U.S. Dollar.
What to know
- The legal age in America is 21
- Make sure you tip your waitress when eating out at a restaurant, tipping should be anywhere between 15-20% (due to America’s low paying wages many waitresses rely on tips).
- Uber & Lyft are generally the best way to get around in LA
Best season to travel
Spring: March, April & May
Summer: June, July & August
It depends on how you spend your days although money does add up quite quickly whilst you’re over there. On average I would say $100+ AUD is enough to spend for the day.
